This Refund Policy should be read together with the Terms & Conditions and Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.

1. Monthly Payments

Classes are generally payable monthly in advance. Payments secure tutoring capacity and scheduled lesson time.

2. Credits Instead of Cash Refunds

Where an eligible lesson is cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice, Extra Math Class may offer a lesson credit or rescheduled session instead of a cash refund, where lawful and appropriate.

3. Credit Expiry

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a lesson credit is valid for one month from the original booking date.

4. Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, missed without notice, or forfeited because of a late arrival may be non-refundable, subject to rights under the Consumer Protection Act and the requirement that any cancellation charge be reasonable.

5. Cancellation by Extra Math Class

If Extra Math Class is unable to provide a paid lesson and a reasonable replacement or credit cannot be provided, an appropriate refund may be considered.

6. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you believe you made a duplicate payment or paid an incorrect amount, please contact us with proof of payment so that the transaction can be investigated.

7. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-excludable right or remedy available under South African consumer-protection law.
